TEXT?

In January 2023, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation launched a new effort in the state to target the demand that drives human trafficking, by partnering with Street Grace to use new technology to identify buyers of illicit sex and communicate directly with those individuals.

WHAT'S NEXT?

We sincerely hope this is your wake-up call. We take human trafficking seriously in Tennessee, because buying sex isn't just wrong, it's illegal. Often, those being sold are coerced, tricked, or manipulated. And many of them are children. They're people, not products.

We have your cell phone number. And if your behavior continues to escalate, our response may, as well.

DO YOU NEED HELP?

There are a wide range of resources available in Tennessee, to help those with sexual compulsions. Below are several options. Please note, however, that inclusion on this list should not imply endorsement by the TBI.

A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so they may overcome their sexual addiction and help others recover from sexual addiction or dependency.

Sexaholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover.

Street Grace offers contact information for additional mental health and sex addiction resources, available to those who live in Tennessee.
